Chrism Mass set for March 30

The annual Chrism Mass for the Diocese of Boise is at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 30 at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 807 N. 8th St., in Boise.

At the Mass, Bishop Peter will bless the oils used for Baptism, Confirmation and Anointing of the Sick. The oils are then distributed for use at each of the parishes.

The Mass, which is open to the public, is attended by nearly all of the active priests in the Diocese, who renew their vows during the Mass.
