If you are here because you are facing or suffering through miscarriage, still birth, or infant death, we are so very sorry for your loss and we are glad you found us! We hope that you will find support through our ministry and pray that the Holy Family will intercede for your every need as you journey forward.
May the love of Our Lord and the motherly intercession of Our Lady be palpably yours. The Holy Family is intimately with you here in this blessed place at the foot of the cross. We wish you every grace and blessing in abundance as you move toward healing.

Mission
The Catholic Miscarriage Ministry, a Catholic Diocese of Boise ministry under the Respect Life office, provides comprehensive practical, emotional, and spiritual support to families facing miscarriage, still birth, or infant loss (loss at any gestation or during infancy).

Tami Gieseke is a devoted Catholic wife, homeschooling mother, and Founder of the Catholic Miscarriage Ministry. Tami has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Development from UC Davis. She met the love of her life in college, experienced an amazing conversion, and became passionately Catholic just before her marriage. She and her husband have eleven children, three young boys on earth and eight saints in heaven. Tami, deeply devoted to Our Lady, founded the Catholic Miscarriage Ministry after feeling a distinct call to create a comprehensive ministry for the Catholic Church for families facing or suffering through the loss of a child through miscarriage, still birth, or infant death.

Please call our diocesan Volunteer Ministry Coordinator if you or someone you know is facing loss and is in need of a kit. Kits contain time sensitive help for families, including practical help for the collection of the tiniest of babies for burial
Kits include:

Resource Booklet (a comprehensive guide to all you need during this season of loss, including helpful hints for collection, burial, and making memories; comfort/healing resources, etc.)

Local Resource Guide (includes local phone numbers for your region - miscarriage minister, priest, funeral home, cemetery, Catholic store, etc.) & Helpful Additional Articles from Elizabeth Ministry International.

Miscarriage Collection Kit (a practical kit to help you find/collect your baby… first trimester and second trimester kits contain potential burial vessel and decoration kit)

Prayer shawl for you (we are praying for you and so is our prayer shawl ministry…)

Burial blanket for baby (if you’d like it for burial), and a coordinated healing pocket blanket for you to hold on to.

A rosary set… one to go with baby and one for you to keep

Certificate of Life for your baby (Please contact your local Miscarriage Minister (Catholic Miscarriage Ministry) to have your baby’s name placed in your region’s Book of Life)

Keepsake Box (we hope you will use this box to keep mementos from your little one. May it bring you comfort in the years to come as you remember your sweet baby in heaven).
